Plywood (Exterior / WBP)
Exterior / WBP birch plywood is designed for projects where moisture, load and dimensional stability are critical. A 100% birch veneer core and cross‑banded construction provide high bending strength, predictable performance and clean edges after machining.
Panels are produced in a wide range of thicknesses and formats for construction, formwork, transport flooring and industrial use. Calibrated surfaces and tight tolerances make Exterior / WBP plywood suitable for coatings, film overlays and precise cut‑to‑size processing.

* Static bending strength along and across the grain of the face veneers, modulus of elasticity in static bending along and across the grain of the face veneers, and tensile strength along the grain are verified through lab testing at least once a month for every brand name, panel thickness, and number of plies. Lab testing of every batch of Petro Birch Regular Exterior plywood is available upon customer request.
Available grades allow selection according to aesthetic and functional requirements:
Grade I: B — highest appearance and strength
Grade II: BB — suitable for construction and industrial use
Grade III: CP — functional applications where minor defects are acceptable
Grade IV: C — for structural or industrial use where appearance is secondary
Applications & Grades
Petro Birch plywood panels are used in applications where high strength, dimensional stability, and moisture resistance are required, without the need for additional formability beyond minimal bending.
Common applications include:
- Construction elements for exterior and interior projects
- Flooring and transport platforms
- Formwork and temporary industrial structures
- Furniture components and interior finishing
